You were right. I revisited our 2012 tax returns and I previously checked “Self employed/sole proprietor”.  Once I un-clicked that, I was able to put in the income number from the correct form on our business taxes. Then it changed our amounts owed. Once it has gone through, we get the Utah State tax lien taken off our credit report and won’t owe the IRS thousands of dollars. I want to thank you for noticing that and taking the time to explain it to me. It really was a matter of clicking the correct box. I was also able to add in some vehicle deductions too. It is a huge relief to us. The great new is, our AGI didn’t go down a whole lot, we will be getting $1,600 back from the IRS and we won’t have to continue making those payments each month to Utah State and the IRS! So, thank you!!!
