“My heart has been so full the last 2 weeks”

My heart has been so full the last 2 weeks and I just feel like I need to share how important family, and friends are to me. About 3 weeks ago I shared with a friend that I was about ready to give up on being able to build a home. She said maybe you need a little more faith to just make it over that one more bump, if only you could see what is on the other side. That night I thought, ok I prayed and decided to try and have a little more faith, and that whatever needed to happen would happen…This dear friend of mine, has always had to help me along the right path the past 5+ years…When our home burned she came and spent countless hours cleaning, and doing inventory for me…….A couple days later we received a phone call From our Loan Officer Anthony VanDyke saying we could go sign papers for our construction loan…We went and signed papers as we left tears just started rolling down my cheeks it didn’t seem real….We have waited patiently, endured living in a camper, living with family, living (6 of us in the same room with mattresses on the floor), so many hard hard things….Our kids were practically ready to kill each other, and are done with all sleeping in the same room. However, we have become so close as a family, and I think our kids could live in anything and they will be able to endure hard things. The next day we received our building permit and a couple days later we poured our footings….and formed our foundation…Both of our families came and helped…..I think we about killed our Dad’s but they pretended they were still 30 as they threw forms on their shoulders….We could not have made it through this without our sweet friends and families….During this same time our boys were preparing to go on trek and I was so worried about Brax it was his first time going but knew the leaders would take good care of him….He ended up getting sick the first day, I want to thank his ma & pa for taking such good care of him and for Malc always checking on him….They had such a neat experience, and I heard Mark Thacker cooked the best food, and that made him feel better smile emoticon I know the leaders put so much time, and effort into making it a success….It definitely was a success thank you everyone that made it a Testimony Building experience for our amazing youth… I also was able to go to a neighbors that lost her dear husband, and their dear son….we arrived right after they received the news, just seeing these sweet women made my heart ache for all of their family….As I looked at all of the pictures of their family hanging on the wall it made me realize how precious life is…Sometimes we get so focused on the world, that we forget that our Family & Friends are whats most important…..So grateful for all the friends and family that we have and for our 4 amazing boys that are growing to fast.
